2008 Chardonnay

The Adelaide Hills wine region is renowned for production of premium Chardonnay. Paracombe Chardonnay is a great example of the quality of wine this region can produce.

A single vineyard wine, the fruit for this wine was sourced exclusively from Paul and Kathy Drogemullers’ vineyard at Paracombe. 2008 yields were carefully managed to ensure optimum flavour and quality.

This limited release Chardonnay was fermented and matured in French Oak Barriques for three months. The result is a wine with excellent structure and delicate fruit flavour, well balanced with cool climate freshness.

Enjoy the attractive bouquet of delicate nectarine, pineapple and melon aromas. The palate provides a lovely expression of fresh ctirus and white peach flavour accompanied by subtle oak. Here is an elegant wine.

Certainly a special wine to share with fine food and friends, but if you’re all alone and thirsty, don’t deprive yourself.
