Come and join us for Winter Reds Festival at Paracombe. We will be serving up delicious, locally sourced produce. Slow braised Ossobuco, mild Chicken Korma with basmati rice, minted yoghurt and pappadums, and sweet potato and lentil burger with a couscous salad. The Chocolate Somerville experience, hot apple crumble for sweets. The full Paracombe range by glass and bottle, plus beautiful views,music food and wine.

2017 Vintage and Harvest
2017 harvest and vintage kicked off early March here at Paracombe Wines. A wetter than average 2016 winter, spring and cool summer has given us a later harvest than we’ve seen for many years. What’s more the homestead gardens and vineyard look lush, green and pretty as a picture.
We have now picked all our grapes. The last fruit to come off in mid May was Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon. Now we are steadily working through vintage and looking after ferments in the winery.
Our feeling is the 2017 vintage will be special. The slow, gentle ripening season is rewarding with high quality and flavour intensity to produce well balanced, superb Paracombe wines. Something to look forward to.

The Reuben Scoops Blue Gold in Sydney International Competition.
Paracombe The Reuben 2012 has been awarded Blue Gold in the 2017 Sydney International Wine Competition.
This is such a great achievement as the award winners account for only the top 15%, the cream of the maximum 2,000 entries accepted for this very prestigious competition. The Reuben went through a rigorous process, being judged twice and then finally beside food.
Paracombe The Reuben is a stunning red blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Shiraz dedicated to Reuben Chapman, an early Paracombe settler known for his generosity and passionate love for our special part of the world.
Melbourne International Wine Show Success!
We’re absolutely thrilled to share the great news Paracombe 2010 Somerville Shiraz, Adelaide Hills, won Gold at the 2016 Melbourne International Wine Competition.
We also picked up Silver for our 2012 Shiraz and 2015 Holland Creek Riesling and Bronze for our 2014 Pinot Noir, 2012 The Reuben and 2013 Malbec. This makes six medals awarded to Paracombe for this very prestigious competition where 800 wines were submitted from around the world.
Paracombe Somerville Shiraz is our prestige release wine from our family vineyard at Paracombe. The 2010 vintage is an incredibly limited production of only 1296 bottles.
